- How long does a cedar fence last in the valley?
- A well-built cedar fence commonly gives you 15 to 20 years here, and the posts are almost always what fail first, which is why we set them properly. Sun exposure is the big variable, so a south-facing run weathers faster than a shaded one. Sealing or staining every few years buys you real time.
- How do you handle fence lines on a slope?
- Two ways: racking, where the panel follows the grade at an angle, or stepping, where each section stays level and drops at the post. Racking looks smoother and closes gaps at the bottom; stepping suits sharp grade changes and formal board styles. We'll show you which fits your line on the walkthrough.
- What gate options do you offer?
- Single walk gates, double drive gates, and matching hog-wire or privacy gates in the same material as the fence. We add diagonal or steel bracing on wide gates and use heavy hinges and drop rods so they still latch years later.
- What does a fence project cost and how long does it take?
- Most residential fence lines go in within a few days to about a week. Cost is driven by total linear feet, height, material, gate count, and how much rock, slope, or old fence removal is involved. Every estimate is free.
